No other store makes it easier to consign with no appointment and no fee!

Please note-our staff is trained that they must follow the following guidelines when looking through your items so understand that they are just doing their job.

Please take the time to read the following criterion and sort your items accordingly before coming in to the store. This will ensure a smooth and efficient experience when you bring your items to Greene Street.

It is is recommended that you take a moment to look around the store so that you have an understanding of our pricing structure.

It's that simple...and you will be on your way to making money at from your unwanted clothing at Greene Street Consignment!

Seasonal items only:

*Please note that it takes 21 days for your items to be processed from drop off date so we use the following schedule:

January

• very select winter but no heavy wool or coats

February

• winter is finished and transition begins-merinos and jackets, early spring

March

• spring items

April-May

• summer items-tanks, shorts, new bathing suits, etc

June

• select summer

July

• very select summer-no more shorts or tank tops

August-August

• transitional items and early fall

September

• fall and heavy winter items

October-November-Dec

• fall /winter items

*If your items are very high end or designer we will make seasonal exceptions

Clothing:

• We must accept a minimum total of 10 pieces (which can include accessories and jewelry) so please bring more than 10 items-if we can not find 10 pieces then we can not start a consignment.
• All items must be in excellent condition and very current in style

• We prefer items that are no more than 3 years old-labels from Gap at the low end to Gucci, Prada or designer at the high end.
• We do not accept inexpensive mall labels
  target and old navy brands on a limited basis only.


Womens:

• Sizes 0-14
• *we are very select with sizes 0 and 2 and higher end items are preferred in those sizes
• Items must be off of the hanger -folded in a bag or box
  free of stains, pills and pet hair
• Must have all buttons
• No socks or under garments-new or used
• No personal monograms
• No wedding or bridesmaid attire
• Swim wear must be brand new
• Cotton shirts and tees of higher value only
• Denim should be better brands starting with Gap at the low end and up to designer-
• No cut offs or fringed items
• Shoes should not be in boxes
  and should not be scuffed, stained, or creased
• Better brands only
• Handbags-please note that unless you have an authenticity certificate or an original receipt-it may be difficult to price your item as authentic. Please tell our staff whether or not your item is real or fake at drop off and approximate year and price of purchase.
  
• Jewelry should be better costume or semi-precious stones-gold or sterling



Mens:

• Not accepted in our Lambertville location
• We must accept a minimum of 10 pieces in order to start a consignment-please no hangers or we will not take the items
• We accept all mens categories of clothing, shoes and accessories
• Seasonal items only -see schedule
• We do accept formal wear.
• 
  Sizes:
• pants sizes 30-38 only-no exceptions
• length must be a minimum of 30" length and the larger the pant , the longer the inseam
• No personal monograms or names in shirts




Childrens:

• We do not accept childrens items.




Maternity:

• We do not accept maternity items.
